About us
Hi, my name is Miranda. I have been working as an Occupational Therapist (OT) for the past 7 years. I am a proud parent to my partner’s three beautiful children. My partner Nicole works alongside me as our administration manager and has supported me in developing The OT Plan.
After working together in a private paediatric therapy clinic the past few years, we were inspired to find a way to address the issues around the never ending ‘waitlists’ and support families to engage in therapeutic activities in the home.
Current evidence shows that repetition and opportunity to practice skills across environments such as in the home or at school, supports skill aquisition and development in neurodiverse children.
With the launch of The OT Plan, I’ve condensed my favorite therapy tools and activities into skill specific therapy plans that can be utilised across settings and support families in accessing the help they need, when they need it.
Our mission is to empower parents to engage their children in playful therapeutic activities that supports their learning and development.
“At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a childs success is the positive involvement of parents”
